The Salisbury Group of companies (Salisbury) has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and is committed to preventing it from occurring within our business and supply chain. Conscious that the offences of ‘slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour’ and ‘human trafficking’ remain a hidden blight on our global society, Salisbury’s Board of Directors, Executive Management Team, directors and managers are fully committed to ensuring that neither slavery nor human trafficking is taking place in our business or supply chain.
We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business transactions and relationships and we expect our supply chain partners to share this commitment. In the last 12 months, we have implemented robust internal procedures (including supplier auditing and third party verifications) and enforced effective policies, systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place.
This statement is made in accordance with Section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act (2015) and constitutes Salisbury’s modern slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
